Our coaches are volunteers that give 40+ hours per month to promote, teach and nurture a love of lacrosse.
Our RAE philosophy defines how we approach the game, each other, and individual development on and off the field. These values shape our culture and guide us to be the best team—and teammates—we can be.
Respect
We respect the game, our teammates, coaches, opponents, and ourselves. Respect means playing with integrity, celebrating teamwork, and recognizing the value each person brings to our team. We uphold sportsmanship and always strive to learn from both victories and losses.
Attitude
A positive attitude is key to success. We approach each practice and game with enthusiasm, open-mindedness, and resilience. No challenge is too big, and no setback is permanent. Together, we focus on the process, commit to improvement, and lift each other up with a “can-do” spirit.
Effort
Effort is at the heart of achievement. We give our best every day, whether it’s in practice, games, or supporting our team. Hard work and dedication build champions, and we believe that success comes from consistently putting in the effort needed to grow as players and as individuals.
COACHING CLEARANCE AND TRAINING
This includes, at minimum, a background check, a 2-hour abuse prevention course, and completion of bronze-level lacrosse training.
California’s Assembly Bill 506 (AB506), effective January 1, 2022, establishes new screening, training, and policy requirements for youth-serving organizations.
To promote healthy communication and prevent conflicts that may arise due to the intensity of the game, we have implemented a 24-Hour Cool Off Period policy.
